I (,Sama Hojabri,) work with the intersection of sculpture, computation, and immersive media. My practice of built environments, merges digital systems with physical structures, compiled with a commitment to intensity, and meticulous craft.
I am drawn to systems that require endurance, whether mathematical, mechanical, or sculptural.
Much of my work begins as a technical pursuit, culminating in a pattern to be built, a measurement to be tested, a material to be pushed until it reveals its limits. I treat each project as a disciplined study of form and precision.
I wish to create habitats, that with sensory and spatial interactions, activate surreal landscapes corresponding to digital and physical negotiations.
