;progression
Throughout years of learning, I have concluded a single architectural form that gathers many of my interests being digital fabrication, pattern-based design, animation, and experimental electronics. Thus, the embryonic beginnings of a large, accessible geodesic dome (an interactive installation), is now quarterly hand built to present as a sculptural object as well as a projection chamber.

Everything from the weight of the frame, the repetition of the struts, and the tension of each connection point is shaped through careful, planned construction. The interior is meant to confirm this dome as an interactive vessel, functioning as a domain to host my visual sequences of biological motions and dreamlike distortions

;description
Extensive formula-based calculations for the 2V frequency dome, followed by fabricated prototype models developed using CAD software such as Rhino 8, enabled the progression of the structure.

My practice intersects sculpture, computation, and immersive media, focusing on environments that invite experimentation and collaborative discovery. Naranja extends this approach by transforming a well known geometric structure into a responsive habitat for shared ambient experiences.

The interior supports touch-sensors and projection mapping, becoming a hybrid shelled environment. Using applications such as Touchdesigner(serial port), Arduino and Processing, touch and light input from participants control and channel into real-time visuals then mapped to the dome’s interior panels

Visuals are distributed across the geometric multiple panels, creating projections of layered motion graphics inspired by circuits, cellular growth, and ocular forms but may decide to tell a story that follows the viewer’s interpretation as they are surrounded.

As an operational physical interface, the dome enables direct manipulation of video, image and sound through bodily interaction. The actual sensor reading system will soon support multiple users interacting simultaneously, dependant on enabling shared control of this enclosed visual space.

Inspired by Fernando von Reichenbach’s innovations that connect sound and image, the project merges engineered soundscapes with ambient spatial design to offer the audience an alluring listening environment, turning sound into architecture
